- [Instructor] The impact of learning is closely related to the power of strong communication, and when we say communication, we most commonly think of interpersonal communication. This is where you communicate with others and you are expressing your thoughts as clearly as possible while working to recognize their unique perspectives. Strong interpersonal communication improves your ability to send and receive information and therefore, grounds and develops your arguments. There is also the ability to communicate with yourself, to analyze and evaluate information, a process commonly known as critical thinking. Critical thinking, alongside the questioning of information, is key to the formation of a perspective. In an online learning environment, there is a third audience for communication: technology.
