- [Instructor] When you create a visualization in Tableau, it's important that you get everything looking right. A little bit of formatting can help your colleagues understand your data more effectively. And in this movie, I will show you a couple of techniques to change the formatting for the contents of a text table. My sample file is 0902 format, and you can find it in the chapter nine folder of the exercise files collection. I have looked at formatting for other visualization types elsewhere in the course, so here I'll focus on a text table. And there's no way that I can show you everything, there's just too much. So I'll focus on changing the formatting of the text, and also banding for rows. The text that we see here in my text table has darker text for the column and row headers, and also the title. And then lighter text for the numbers. And there's also banding, so I have gray for the even rows in the text table. I can change the formatting of the text by going to the format…
