- Critique is an incredibly valuable process for improving as a photographer, and if you've never been through a critique, if you've never had a batch of your images critiqued by a teacher or a group of your fellow students, you've really been missing out on something. If the idea of having your images critiqued sounds terrifying then this is a good episode for you to watch. This week on "The Practicing Photographer," we're going to continue something we were doing earlier, which is looking at the work of photographer Jacob Cunningham, who recently got a medium format film camera that he's been using to try to get himself interested in shooting again, and he showed us a bunch of images, but we didn't go too deeply into them.
