Applying materials

- [Instructor] Materials allow you to add color and texture to your objects in Unreal Engine. So let's take a look at how to apply materials to your scenes and your objects in Unreal. So I have a basic scene here, and let's actually go in and look at this table. So I'm going to go ahead and left click on it and select it, and hit the letter F to frame it. And you can see that it's a nice orange color. Now, that orange is a material, and we can find the material in a couple of places. Materials can be found in the Assets folder. In this case, I'm going into Assets, Cabin_Scene, Materials, and you'll see we have a bunch of materials here. We can also find them over here on the right-hand side in the outliner. So when I have this table selected, you'll see we have that patio table material. Now, if I want to change it, all I have to do is left click on that, and you can see we have a couple of other ones, I have PatioTableB, if I left click on that you can see the color and the material…
