This summer, together with State Farm, we opened our 12th Good Neighbor Club at the Pittman Park Recreation Center!
This space celebrates the growth and shaping of the teens who will use this room, reflecting our commitment to cultivating the future leaders of our world ❤️ #StateFarmPartner
Hi, Mr. Samuel Kane. I'm a recreational coordinator at Pittman Park and I run the team program here. My role here is to give these teams a safe haven place to come and to contribute to being better in their lives. Our team room hasn't had a makeover in over 10 years. The Hawks came and told us they were going to remodel our room, and that was the best news. About 10 years plus of building community through these good neighbor clubs. We're so proud that State Farm joined us. That's more than color. It's more than new carpet. It's about giving these kids a space where they feel like they can truly explore their brightest and best versions of themselves. 123 Cut At State Farm, we pride ourselves on being a good neighbor, so the opportunity to continue to invest in the Atlanta area, support others that have a similar passion for community and youth like the Atlanta Hawks, is just a dream matchup. We've updated the furniture, we've got new TV's, we've got gaming equipment. Chris Burgess, such a special neighborhood and now these kids are going to get the chance to explore, to learn, to have fun, and there's good neighbors. This team room, that's where you can sit and congregate with your friends doing something positive. I've been in the program since 2016 and today I want to say a big thanks to the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm for the amazing renovated space. And I know it's going to make my time here even better. The kids that come in here, those are the leaders of tomorrow. Those are the kids that is putting the work in to make a better future for themselves. And that's what this room is all about.
