Thanksgiving Safety Tips (Because no one wants an ER visit before dessert) As we head into the holiday, here are ten practical — and a little humorous — safety reminders to keep your Thanksgiving injury-free: Deep-Fried Turkey Safety: Thaw fully, lower slowly, keep kids/pets clear. Carving = Lockout/Tag out: Stabilize surfaces and carve with intention. Backyard Football: Warm up to avoid early-game injuries. Slips & Trips: Kitchen floors get slick fast; wear proper footwear and clean spills quickly. Alcohol + Power Tools: Save ladder and light-hanging work for before the drinks. Kids in the Kitchen: Establish safe zones for little helpers. Food Safety: Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours and reheat properly. Travel Smart: Treat holiday roads like a work zone — plan, focus, stay alert. Lift Safely: Even the turkey requires good lifting form. Rest & Recover: A rested team is a safe team — on the jobsite and at home. Wishing everyone a safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving. 🦃🍁
