From the park to the playoffs – we like the sound of that! Happy Earth Day!
🌱 From saves to shade—real impact rooted in community. To celebrate Earth Day, the Vegas Golden Knights and partners turned their “Trees for Saves” Green Game pledge into action—donating and planting more than 70 trees at Prentiss Walker Memorial Park in North Las Vegas. In partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, Henderson Silver Knights Foundation, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and ReRoute Americas - Making Sustainability a REALITY, this initiative supports ImpactNV’s statewide goal to plant 100,000 trees across Nevada over the next 10 years. 🌳 Why this location? As Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown shared, it’s a “tree desert”—an area in need of natural shade and green space. Now, thanks to this collaborative effort, that’s changing. 🚌 Also worth celebrating: VGK’s partnership with RTC, which has helped avoid over 1,500 metric tons of CO₂e since its inception. With reduced fares to VGK games, this effort supports both emissions reduction and expanded access, helping shift fans away from single-occupancy vehicles for that crucial final mile to The Fortress.
