Had a fun and informative deep dive with our coaching community on using Yoodli as a copilot in live coaching sessions—whether virtual, in-person, 1:1, or group settings. We explored three key ways coaches are integrating Yoodli AI Roleplays to enhance their sessions: 🎤 Live roleplay practice in breakout rooms 👉 Helps participants reinforce learning by immediately applying new skills 👉 Works great for virtual group coaching or in-person workshops 👉 Coaches can set custom roleplay prompts and track progress from before and after workshop 🔄 Instant replays during virtual sessions 👉 Works with Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams 👉 Gives participants real-time feedback on body language, word choice, and pacing 👉 Helps coaches guide discussions with objective insights, rather than just gut feel 📱 Recording & reviewing in-person sessions 👉 Perfect for conference prep, media training, or sales coaching 👉 Provides data-driven feedback while keeping the human touch of live coaching 👉 Participants can review their sessions afterward for continued improvement One of favorite moments is when Diane Windingland walked us through her workflow, and it was seamless (and awesome to see! It felt like the Yoodli team didn’t need to be there! It was a great reminder to me of how much we can learn from each other. 💡 Getting started is easy—coaches can sign in, set up roleplays, and integrate Yoodli into their sessions within minutes. More resources to come! Grateful for this community of coaches who openly share their experiences and help one another grow. Please reach out if you’d like to learn more.

If you’re a health coach who’s mostly been coaching via chat or text, you’re not alone. That’s been the norm in many digital health companies for years. But here’s the thing: live video coaching is on the rise. Employers are hiring for it. Clients are asking for it. And more and more, it’s becoming the standard for quality behavioral coaching. That means you’ll likely be asked to demonstrate your video coaching skills in interviews and assessments … even if you’ve never coached live before. So how do you get ready? Here are a few simple ways to build confidence and sharpen those skills: 1. Practice with a peer. Ask a fellow coach to do a mock session. Set a timer for 20-30 minutes, pick a behavior change topic, and treat it like a real client conversation. 2. Record yourself. Use Zoom or your phone. Watch it back and look for presence, pacing, focus, and whether your questions invite reflection. 3. Focus on connection. Coaching live isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present. Let your client see you listen, pause, and care. 4. Use your frameworks. Your favorite tools and models still apply. Just say them out loud instead of typing them. 5. Stay curious. Coaching on video is a different skill, but it’s still coaching. (And there’s a good chance you will love it.) This shift can feel intimidating, but it’s also exciting. Video coaching brings your humanity front and center. And that’s where the magic happens. #ExNoom coaches: I’m happy to do a live video mock coaching session with you! DM me.

Mastering Virtual Training: A Wake-Up Call I used to love remote work—great balance, great flexibility. But after facilitating the same class in-person and virtually, I saw stark differences: ✅ In person: Natural engagement, easy interaction, real-time feedback. 🔄 Virtual: Quieter participants, hard-to-read expressions, trickier to gauge. At first, I was frustrated. Was the lesson even landing? But here’s the truth: Virtual isn’t going anywhere, and neither is in-person. If we want to be great trainers, leaders, and communicators, we have to master BOTH. That’s why I focused on making virtual training more interactive: 💬 Ensuring everyone could use chat & reactions upfront 🙋 Prefacing questions with “drop your answer in chat or raise your hand” 🔄 Using unpacking questions for those who unmuted 🎯 Calling on participants who hadn’t engaged yet 🤝 Sending people into small groups 📖 Asking for volunteers to read infographics 🖍 Using a whiteboard for real-time highlights 👀 Watching for body language (as tough as it was!) So, I’m curious—what strategies have helped you make virtual training as impactful as in-person? Let’s trade strategies! 👇 #Leadership #Training #VirtualWork #RemoteWork #ProfessionalDevelopment

In exploring paths for coaching, virtual coaching is a newer and unexpected force delivering substantial benefits beyond simple convenience. On the latest episode of The Future of Teamwork, my guest Reggie Jeffries, M.A. and I delved into how virtual coaching platforms are revolutionizing learning by providing efficient and accessible opportunities for diverse groups from various companies and industries. The secret to successful virtual coaching? Engaging and interactive sessions. Aim for a coach who fosters active participation by leveraging creative technology and innovative session designs, ensuring every participant is involved. Reggie does this by innovating beyond traditional webinars. He integrates real-world case studies into breakout rooms, employs interactive tools like word clouds, and schedules 'brain breaks' to maintain high energy levels. This strategy fights virtual disengagement and significantly enhances the learning process. Reggie’s journey to redefine virtual coaching is driven by a commitment to offer experiences that are both informative and engaging, pushing the limits of traditional learning environments. What are your thoughts and experiences with virtual coaching and training? How do you make your sessions stand out? Share your ideas and questions below! #VirtualCoaching #Teamwork #Innovation #Engagement #Learning
