    The three most "costly" and disruptive things for product/tech/R&D teams: 1️⃣ Context switching 2️⃣ Handoffs between people/teams 3️⃣ Alignment across people/teams If the goal is accomplishing as much as possible as quickly as possible, then you obviously want to reduce all three. This is why org design is such a critical part of tech company leadership. But there are often good reasons why you can't: >>Limited bottleneck resource (e.g., maybe there's only one designer) >>Dealing with emergencies or other requests that interrupts your typical work cadence >>A need to drive alignment across multiple teams >>Lots of acknowledged unknowns about market needs, technical capabilities, etc. Basically, this situation occurs when substantial and identified risks exist outside of the person or team being asked to manage across or between multiple products or projects. So what can you do? 💡 Try to reduce the frequency of context switching. For example, you could dedicate a full day (or even a half day) to a single product. 🤼 Vigorously pass on tasks to people not spread across multiple projects. For example, can you push project management work onto a dedicated engineering team? Can you bring in a customer success person to run your user testing or validation work? 🧠 Build your second brain. At the end of every day (or ideally before you switch), summarize the work you did, the tasks you expect to do next, and any helpful context or reminders to help you in the future. 📃 Be even more ruthless about prioritizing. You're doing three things now. Don't add a fourth or a fifth, especially if it's not important. You're not the person to circulate the "get well" card or plan the quarterly offsite. When do you find yourself forced over too many projects or products? And what are your tricks to minimize the cost of context switching?

    Early on, I struggled with this 😣 As a founder, managing multiple projects and priorities is essential. But it's not always easy to balance everything ⏳ During the initial phase of building FinAcc Global Solution, I used to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, which eventually resulted in exhaustion and burnout. But over time, I realized that I must adopt a different approach to achieve the balance between multiple projects 🤔 After experimenting with various methods, I discovered some helpful tips that greatly improved my situation and these tips will be beneficial for you too: ✅ Prioritize ruthlessly: It's crucial to prioritize tasks based on their importance and urgency. Focus on the high-priority tasks that will have the most significant impact on your projects. ✅ Set clear deadlines: Set realistic deadlines for yourself and your team. Deadlines helped me to keep everyone on track and ensure that tasks were completed on time. ✅ Use automation tools: Take advantage of automation tools that can help streamline your workflows, such as automated reminders, email filters, and project management software. ✅ Communicate regularly: Communication is key when managing multiple projects and I can totally vouch for it. Regular communication with team members and clients is essential to ensure that everyone is on the same page. ✅ Delegate tasks: Delegating tasks to team members can help you manage your workload more effectively.
