  • For many players, there simply is no substitute for a rollicking game of Texas Hold 'Em poker. This game first captivated the public's attention in the 1960s, and its global popularity surged in the 2000s because of its exposure in literature, the internet, and television. The widespread appeal of this game is owed in part to the simplicity and entertainment value inherent in it. Players are tasked with forming the best 5-card hand possible. It's a simple proposition, but mastering this game certainly takes tremendous insight, practice, and poker smarts. It has been called the game that "takes a minute to learn but a lifetime to master". Thanks to the inclusion of pot limit, fixed limit and no limit Hold 'Em, everyone scores with this feature rich attraction.

In Texas Hold 'Em, players are dealt two face-down cards, called "hole cards". Afterwards, each player gets a chance to exercise their betting options. Next, three cards are dealt simultaneously on the table for all players to share. This is called the flop, and it is followed by another round of betting. A fourth card, called the turn, is then dealt, and it too is followed by a round of betting. One final community card called the river is dealt followed by a final round of betting. When all bets have concluded, there is a showdown, in which the highest ranking hand in play wins the pot.

  • One of the most popular variations of Poker, Omaha is a fun, more complex game that engages, thrills, and excites!  At it’s core, Omaha is played similarly to Texas Hold ‘em, Each player receives face down cards and there are five community cards,  But, here’s where it gets interesting: In Omaha, players are dealt four face-down cards and they make their hands using a combination of 2 hole cards and 3 community cards.  Omaha is usually played in different fun, exciting formats.  In Pot-Limit Omaha, players can raise up to the total Pot size, making the betting fun and fast-paced.  Omaha also has a popular variation called “Hi-Low,” where the pot is split between the best High Poker Hand and the Lowest 5-card hand (8 or lower).  Of course, the 2-hole card/ 3-community card rule still applies, making Hi-Low a fun, challenging variation where the possibilities are endless.
