🇪🇺🥇 MBDA wins first place in the Frontex contest with SKY WARDEN! Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, recently concluded its contest to counter the criminal use of #drones at EU borders. We are proud to announce that SKY WARDEN, our modular, scalable, and evolvable system, was awarded First place in the contest by Frontex. Hosted by the Portuguese Air Force at Campo de Tiro base in Samora Correia, the contest evaluated solutions in real-world conditions to support #European law enforcement with non-military tools for detecting, tracking, and neutralizing drones used in unlawful cross-border activities. #SKYWARDEN addresses the full spectrum of drone threats, from micro-drones to tactical drones and loitering munitions. It can operate as a stand-alone solution or as part of a layered air defence architecture, ensuring adaptability to evolving #security challenges. 🇸🇪🤝 MBDA strengthens its partnership with Sweden! MBDA has signed a new agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for additional deliveries of CAMM (Common Anti-air Modular Missiles). This follow-on order builds on the 2023 contract for the SEA CEPTOR air defence system, which Sweden is integrating on its Visby-class corvettes. ➡️ This new milestone reinforces Sweden’s trust in MBDA’s world-class air defence solutions and highlights our shared commitment to strengthening European and NATO interoperability and security. 💬 “Sweden continues to place its trust in MBDA’s capabilities.
