Ping Poing and blending What is "ping pong" in the context of graphics rendering?

I have to render a scene, once per light, and blend the result of the various passes. I heard and read that one way to increase performances and Render Targetsrender targets to use would be Ping Poingping pong.

Since I am a bit of a newbie in the context, can you explain a bit more such ideaI'm new to me (inthis context. What does this mean in terms of Renderrender targets + blending in my situation)

Thank you very much I really appreciate any type of help?
