In October, more than 250 youths celebrated a milestone in their journey with Impart at the Mega Graduation. Themed, "Crossover", the event was a celebration of growth, connection, and resilience. Among the graduates were over 60 youths who were supported by 18 GIC volunteers through weekly mentoring sessions. Each week, the mentors guided youth through workbook activities and games to reflect on their aspirations and strengths, before participating together in a sports training of their choice. These informal group therapy sessions offer a unique platform for youths facing adversity to build community and foster a commitment to developing their future selves. Through partnerships like this, GIC empowers our employees to create impactful change in the communities where we live and work. This year marks the 10th edition of our flagship thought leadership event, GIC Insights — a milestone in our commitment to fostering meaningful connections and dialogue on the most pressing issues shaping markets and economies. The 2025 forum was our largest yet, bringing together more than 400 leaders from over 25 countries. Under the theme “History Awaits”, we explored the unique inflection points facing investors and businesses today, from the evolving geoeconomic landscape to the future of AI and space technology. We were honoured to host Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the GIC Board, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong, members of the GIC Board, and an exceptional line-up of speakers: Marc Rowan (Apollo Global Management, Inc.), Ewout Steenbergen (Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), Adaire Fox-Martin (Equinix), Jamie Dimon (JPMorganChase), Rick Wallace (KLA), Gwynne Shotwell (SpaceX), and Mohamed El-Erian (University of Pennsylvania). This October, more than 55 GIC colleagues and their families came together in New York and San Francisco to support the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This fundraising activity was especially meaningful for our colleagues whose lives have been touched by cancer, and we proudly supported them in turning their passion for cancer awareness into action through our social impact programme “With Love, GIC”.  The American Cancer Society is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. GIC participated in The Purple Parade 2025, Singapore’s largest movement celebrating the abilities of persons with disabilities (PWDs), on 25 October 2025. Over 100 GICians and their families joined the celebration, wearing specially designed t-shirts inspired by “Flowers”, an artwork by Wan Dzulkefly, an artist from our community partner ART:DIS.
