Our Clean Earth acquisition, once closed, doubles our U.S. hazardous waste footprint and positions us as the #2 player in one of America's most critical environmental sectors. Clean Earth's 82 locations and 700+ operating permits create a true nationwide platform. We're now positioned to serve high-growth industries from the Southeast to the Pacific Northwest—regions where demand is surging and treatment capacity is essential. Thanks to Waste Dive for covering this exciting announcement. Read more at https://lnkd.in/eY88QSX3

Did you know the food you toss after a meal could be turned into a renewable source of energy? Through a process called anaerobic digestion, residential source-separated food wastes are converted into biogas, which can then be turned into renewable natural gas for injection into the gas pipeline. In Canada, we are using renewable natural gas to power homes, businesses and waste collection vehicles that collect the food wastes - an example of the circular economy in action. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 22,000 tons per year. Learn more about how we are turning food waste into energy in our 2025 Sustainability Report. https://lnkd.in/ey8eyHTX

We're honored to be featured in the most recent issue of PES Wind, highlighting our innovative solution to recycle retired wind turbine blades. At Veolia, we are developing solutions every day to optimize essential resources and keep them in use for longer. Our wind turbine blade recycling program is a prime example of how we took on the challenge to find alternative uses for these materials, ultimately turning them into fuel for cement co-processing.
As the first generation of wind farms near retirement, turbine blade waste is one of renewable energy’s toughest sustainability challenges. Early recycling failures left stockpiles, fines and reputational risks, but cement co-processing now offers a scalable path forward. By turning end-of-life blades into fuel and raw material for cement, operators cut emissions, save landfill space, and turn liabilities into assets. For OEMs, investors and regulators, the key question is whether operators have the expertise and stability to deliver at scale. At the Veolia Lakeland Open, we’re bringing our sustainability solutions directly to fans and players. Our colleagues at Veolia | Water Tech are offering tours of the reverse osmosis mobile water unit – a portable system that can deliver high quality water in emergencies or as a backup for facilities. Most recently, this unit helped communities recover from hurricane damage by restoring access to fresh water when infrastructure was destroyed. We’re also providing enhanced water refill stations to reduce single-use plastics and strategically placed recycling boxes to give damaged pickleballs a second life.
