FanDuel
I recently joined Fast Company’s Editor-in-Chief, Brendan Vaughan, on the Office Hour podcast to discuss how FanDuel continues to lead in an evolving industry, and how that evolution brings both opportunity and responsibility. Leading today isn’t just about keeping pace with change. It’s about shaping it in ways that build trust and create meaningful impact. Since 2018, we’ve generated more than $5 billion in state taxes, helping fund vital programs across the country. We’re proud to lead the industry in consumer protection through licensed and regulated operations, while continuing to find new ways to bring customers closer to the game, including partnerships with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) on Prime Video. None of this would be possible without the incredible teams who bring this vision to life every day. Thank you, Brendan, for the opportunity to share how our team is driving responsible growth and setting a higher standard for trusted entertainment. Klaviyo
I’m excited to announce that Klaviyo has acquired Gatsby a longtime partner helping brands turn social engagement into lasting relationships. Social commerce is expected to surpass $100B by 2026, yet many brands still struggle to capture that momentum. Bringing Gatsby into Klaviyo is another big step toward building the best B2C CRM - so every interaction, from a like to a purchase, helps you grow faster. Welcome to the team, Gatsby. FXC Intelligence
I caught up with dLocal CEO Pedro Arnt and SVP Corp Dev Christopher Stromeyer to discuss the company’s Q2 2025 results and the factors driving its strong performance. dLocal posted a 50% rise in revenues to $256m – its fastest pace since 2023 – with cross-border volumes up 75%. All this helped push the share price 31% higher. Growth is broad-based, with Brazil and Mexico rebounding, while markets outside the company’s top three are expanding almost three times faster, strengthening diversification. Product innovation is also key, from SmartPix in Brazil to BNPL rollouts across multiple markets, alongside stablecoin settlement capabilities via partnerships with Circle and BVNK. With raised guidance across all key metrics, dLocal is positioning itself at the forefront of alternative payments and localised solutions for global merchants. In a world where a lot of companies talk about the future of the digital economy, Zayo Group is out there building it. 🚀 This week, we announced a game-changing investment — plans to construct 5,000+ new fiber route miles to build the backbone of AI and support soaring AI capacity demands. While others claim their networks are “ready for AI,” we’re putting real investment behind those claims—taking bold action to ensure the infrastructure is in place for what’s next. Why does this matter? Because the AI revolution isn’t waiting. Data center capacity is on track to grow 2-6x by 2030. Establishing the infrastructure to match that growth has to start today—and as the only provider building long-haul networks at scale, we’re committed to leading that charge.

Toast
Really excited to share that Toast is announcing the Toast Go 3, our lightest, fastest, and most durable handheld point-of-sale device. With over 2 billion orders (yep, you read that right) processed on our handhelds since we launched the first Toast Go handheld in 2018, our third rendition brings together built-in cellular connectivity with ToastIQ, our intelligence engine, to help restaurants increase revenue and provide guests with a premium and personalized experience. I can’t wait to see how our customers will benefit from the Toast Go 3, including being able to take orders, process payments, and print receipts over both Wi-Fi and cellular networks. This is huge for restaurants with patios, pop-up events, and more. Plus, with ToastIQ features, our customers can: - Help their servers boost checks with our Menu Upsells beta feature - Provide real-time updates about low or out-of-stock menu items via our Shift at a Glance beta feature - Highlight guest preferences and/or special occasions with Digital Chits Thrilled for the future—and we’re just getting started! https://lnkd.in/eA24ZiB3

tonies®
Too many toy companies rely on novelty, pushing products tied to the latest movie release or pre-scripted outcomes. But what I’ve learned is that when we limit a child's imagination to following instructions like that, we're actually limiting their growth potential. At Tonies, we take inspiration from some incredible screen-free peers, such as magnetic tiles, Play-Doh, and crayons. What do these all have in common? They give kids the freedom to build something uniquely their own. They're open-ended mediums that invite exploration rather than replication. The sweet spot for us is bridging the gap between a blank slate and a fixed outcome. We want to give children guidance and principles, not just steps to copy a pre-designed idea. When kids feel empowered to take the tool and make it their own, that's where real creativity and learning happen. And when companies embrace their role as enablers of creativity and learning, we stop chasing the next trend and start earning long-term loyalty by helping kids grow over time. Parents see their children developing imagination, problem-solving skills, and confidence. The question every toy company should ask is: "Does this product help kids create, imagine, and learn far beyond the toy itself?" If the answer is yes, you're building something that lasts! 🙌
