On November 21, we had the incredible honor of being officially recognized with Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors Day in the City of Las Vegas, the City of Henderson, and by Clark County in celebration of our 30th anniversary. We were also grateful to have Commissioner April Becker in attendance, representing Clark County’s support during such a meaningful milestone for our firm. As part of our celebration, we recognized the employees who have been with Klai Juba Wald between 10 and 30 years whose dedication, talent, and long-standing commitment have shaped our culture and our work. Their contributions are the foundation of who we are and the reason we continue to move forward with purpose. These proclamations reflect the trust of our clients, the strength of our partnerships, and the unwavering dedication of our people over the past three decades. Our sincere thanks to Mayor Shelley Berkeley, Mayor Michelle Romero, Commissioner Becker, and the Office of the County Commissioners for acknowledging the impact of architecture, design, and community collaboration across our region. Hard Rock Casino Tejon is officially open! As a defining new destination for Kern County, this project represents what’s possible through vision, collaboration, and community. Throughout the property, Hard Rock’s iconic identity and the Tejon Tribe’s cultural legacy come together with intention. From the guitar at the corner of the site inscribed with “Love All, Serve All” to the porte cochere guitar featuring patterns inspired by the Tribe’s traditional basket weaving. These thoughtful details reflect a place designed with meaning, respect, and story. This achievement reflects the strength of partnership between Hard Rock International, the Tejon Tribe, the Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors team, our design and construction partners, and the many consultants and collaborators who helped bring this place to life. Rooted in culture, storytelling, and shared purpose, we’re honored to have supported this effort as Architect of Record and to celebrate the collective dedication that shaped this destination for the region.
