Yesterday’s Cloud Nirvana x The Circuit event at CBTS was packed with energy, real conversations, and practical insights across the SDLC. One highlight: watching our very own Tracy Ruberg, moderate an especially powerful session: AI-Ready, Impact-Driven: Building the Future Across Industries. Tracy posed a question to the panel: “Many organizations are still figuring out where to start in their AI journey- if you were advising a peer just beginning this journey, what’s the one piece of advice you’d give them to build momentum quickly but sustainably?” We’d love to hear your take- How would you answer that question? What happens when Data Science, IT, Product, and Change Management leaders all get in the same room? Real talk about adoption and why it is often the hardest part of any analytics or AI initiative. Our member representatives come together every month for learning, thought leadership, and cross-industry networking. This month, we partnered with The Circuit for a joint Member Meeting focused on one big question: How do we actually secure ROI on the solutions we work so hard to build? We were joined by a fantastic cross-functional panel: Nick Hamilton, 84.51° Joyanna Wesche Blake, Forge Biologics Michael Kaiser, Ingage Partners Jennifer Craddock, Great American Insurance Group Our panel did not hold back. We explored • Distinguishing resistance to change from a genuine misalignment to business needs • Strategies for encouraging adoption • Balancing end user flexibility to explore tools with the need to standardize processes • The role of storytelling and who is best suited to support this part of the project • Perspectives on top down versus bottoms up approaches to driving adoption • Lessons learned from their most memorable failures • Additional insights shared during audience discussion The room was filled with data science and IT leaders who were comfortable challenging the panel, adding new perspectives, and sharing their own experiences. A huge thank you to The Circuit for partnering with us on this event. Building a stronger analytics community takes all of us, and meetings like this show what is possible when we learn together.
